Mark Centkowski of Innovision Optics showed us some of their probe camera rigs that are great for getting shots in hard to reach places!
The CMOCOS is a completely new motion control system that looks like something straight out of a science fiction movie! This portable, lightweight aluminium robot enables high speed operation and delivers high precision motion control with even handheld control for on the fly recording! Suitable for both studio and field use – this thing is bad ass and is perfect for multi-pass tracking shots for effects or even better, time lapses! We couldn’t help but give the CMOCOS most innovative product once we saw this rig in motion plus they had the EPIC mounted which bumped up the cool factor too!
We are pleased to present the crew at LiteGear with DVculture’s Best Of Show at the 2010 Cine Gear Expo. We ran into Al Demayo and his two sons at the LiteGear booth and they showed us some pretty cool gear like their LED LiteRibbon’s turned into a tricked out Pizza Box Light! For the price this is the best kept secret in the indie film world, for a 16ft complete kit (16ft is a lot of Pizza Boxes!) your looking at just $600 and it’s currently being used by the pro’s in Hollywood on films like Iron Man 2! These guys our on top of it, they even have a free iPad App called TechScout Touch! You can’t go wrong with LiteGear products!
